Resawood Goldens, located in the heartland of Northern California's
water fowl and upland game bird hunting grounds, was founded in the Winter of 1993. The owners of Resawood Goldens have 41
years of combined experience raising, training, and caring for dogs. Our dogs are all purpose performance dogs: Agility,
Hunting, and Obedience. Combined, we and our dogs have earned 57 performance titles from the American Kennel Club (AKC),
North American Hunting Retriever Association (NAHRA), Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA), and United Kennel Club (UKC).
Of these titles, the most advanced degrees are Utility Dog (UD), four Companion Dog Excellents (CDX), three Master Hunters
(MH), three Senior Hunters (SH), five Working Certificate Excellents (WCX), Agility Excellent (AX), and Agility Excellent
Jumper (AXJ), plus one AKC Conformation Champion. Resawood is derived from the call names of our first three retrievers -
Re, Sadie, and Woody.
